To be on the salt water canal with dolphin, manatee, snook, tarpon (on occasion) and mullet constantly jumping is it's own form of paradise. With the waterfall running you feel like your at a resort. Sometimes I bring a lounge chair in the cave behind the waterfall and turn it on, it feels like I'm in a different world. There is a sun deck outside the screened in pool (pool, deck, and screen were built in 2017 with blower, heater, waterfall you can jump off of, hot tub, sun shelf and bench seating in the shallow end and all the usual pool equipment controlled by your phone) if you want unobstructed sun. The dock (built in 2017) has a two tiered deck that we have had dinner parties on, or just sat back on an outdoor couch to relax by the water. The seawall (built in 2017) was constructed with extra concrete reinforcement and a huge cap. The tile roof ( built in 2017/2018) will last at least 30 years and comes with a warranty. All three bathrooms were renovated (in 2015). The kitchen was upgraded ( in 2015) with all the amenities, such as two full convection ovens, 1 refrigerator ( plus one refrigerator and one freezer in the pantry), a range hood, 5 burner gas stove top, granite countertops, all new real wood cabinets, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, led lighting under cabinets and a beautiful island and tons of counter space for your prep work. The laundry room & storage room were renovated (in 2019) and comes with new wall to wall real wood cabinetry and a huge counter for folding clothes, access to the pool so wet clothes don't get tracked through the house, all with granite countertops and more. We installed a tankless water heater ( installed in 2018) that is commercial grade and can heat 250 gallons a minute and runs on gas. All three bathrooms were renovated ( in 2015) with a tub in one and the other two have rain showers all built with beautiful tile, frameless glass doors with custom subtle sea scapes etched in them, the cabinets and granite countertops were all added along with granite accents. There are two master bedrooms one with a beautiful water view and two small walk in closets. The other is a spacious room in the middle of the three bedrooms. The third bedroom has the hall/guest bath right next to it. There is a park just down the street that includes a playground, baseball fields, football fields, tennis courts and the Rocky point golf & country club. If you like to ride bikes the bike trail that starts in the park goes to the causeway beach, several other parks, the Grand Hyatt ( where our out of town guests stay and we drive our golf cart about a mile down the bike trail to pick them up or go out to brunch at oystercatchers, the valet got a huge kick when we told him to park it close) it is truly a great life here. We are in the process of getting an appraiser to reassess the square footage to submit to the property appraiser after we air conditioned in the storage room and laundry room 259 sqft per the last appraisal we have so the county has 2,478 plus 259 = 2,737.
